PHIEZ (phiez.com) does not charge users and never sells or rents your personal data to anyone.

To cover running costs, the site shows ads provided by Google AdSense. These ads may use cookies and device data as described in the "Advertising" section below.

You can take quizzes, play mini games and use the draw tool without creating an account. Signing in is optional, for those who want to sync scores across devices.

Depending on how you use PHIEZ, the following kinds of data may be processed:

• Data stored in your browser: quiz settings, results and history, favorite exams, mini game records and the participant list of the draw tool. This lives in Local Storage on your device and is not sent to our servers.
• Google account information (only when you choose to sign in): display name, email address, profile picture and the account identifier provided by Google. We never receive your Google password.
• Synced scores(only when signed in): results of your recent attempts are stored in Google's Firestore service, linked to your account.
• Anonymous usage statistics: pages viewed, device type, browser and approximate region — collected through Google Analytics to help us understand how the site is used.
• Advertising data: when ads are shown, Google and its partners may collect your IP address, cookie or device identifiers, browser information and your interactions with ads. We do not receive your personal information from this process.

We do not ask for or deliberately collect phone numbers, home addresses, payment details or other sensitive data.

• Run the features you use: saving settings, showing history, syncing scores between devices.
• Identify your account so you only see your own data.
• Detect errors, measure usage and improve content and interface.
• Show ads, measure ad performance and prevent ad fraud (carried out by Google AdSense).
• Protect the system against abuse or attacks.

PHIEZ uses Google AdSense to display ads. Google, as a third-party ad provider, uses cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you. Learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• You can turn off personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of cookies from some other ad providers at aboutads.info/choices.
• For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, personalized ads are used only when you consent through the cookie notice; you can change your choice at any time.
• If you turn off personalized ads you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your interests.

We do not pass personal information such as your name, email or quiz results to Google AdSense.

PHIEZrelies on several Google services to operate: Firebase Authentication (sign-in), Cloud Firestore (synced scores), Google Analytics (usage statistics) and Google AdSense (advertising). These services process data under Google's own policies.

Apart from these, we do not share personal data with third parties unless required by law. For details about cookies, see the Cookie policy.

Data in your browser stays until you delete it. For synced scores, the system keeps only a few recent attempts per exam; older data is gradually replaced. Your account and synced data are kept until you ask for them to be deleted.

Synced data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and can only be accessed with your own account. Still, no system is completely secure; please keep your Google account safe.

• Use the site without signing in.
• Delete local data at any time by clearing the site data in your browser, or with the delete-data button in the draw tool.
• Sign out to stop syncing scores.
• Ask to view, correct or delete synced account data by contacting us.

The mini games and quizzes suit many ages. We encourage parents to accompany young children, and we do not deliberately collect personal information from children under 13. The site is not aimed at children for advertising purposes; we do not deliberately enable personalized ads for users we know to be under the applicable age. If you believe an account has been created for a child, contact us and we will delete it.

This policy may be updated as features change. The update date is shown at the start of the page; the version displayed is the one in force.
